Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.

Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.

The Cross Line of Service Management Reporting team is responsible for developing the Reporting strategy and producing and analyzing all reports related to Finance operations, Clients, Markets and Sectors, Line of Service (LoS) Finance and Leadership & Management reports.

This team is responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with LoS Finance Leadership, Firmwide Finance Leadership, US Financial Services Leadership, and the Budget & Analysis Team to assess and deliver on the needs of the organizations and is responsible for developing a sustainable governance structure and standardized reporting across all reporting segments and LoS.

The Leadership Management Reporting team is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the reporting strategy for Leadership, including supporting delivery of the needs of all Executive Reporting, Operations Committee Reporting and Monthly Reporting Packages.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree


Certification(s) Preferred: CPA license


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Leveraging analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Alteryx to present information to drive fact based decision making;

- Analyzing large, complex sets of data into clear visualizations that would provide end-users an ability to view related data in new and innovative ways;

- Demonstrating judgment to see long term impact of issues and ideas as they relate to strategic initiatives and objectives; and,

- Leveraging knowledge of data science industry leading practices, stemming from proven experience; data driven problem solver.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in project management and customer relationship management, including developing and implementing tactical plans to support strategic objectives including the following areas:

- Developing strong working relationships within teams and across the organization;

- Effectively communicating in both oral and written, with the ability to summarize and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating and presenting clearly to and/or for all levels.

- Developing and executing new techniques, policies and procedures, and defining and managing strategic projects; anticipating a range of possible solutions and opportunities, using research, analysis and consultation to reach sound conclusions; and,

- Coaching staff, resolving staff issues, setting performance goals, preparing and delivering training for group, preparing annual performance reviews, and participating in annual performance review process and in the hiring/terminations for the team.
