Job Description

Professionals in PwC Public Sector LLP may be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet related eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Our Finance consultants help clients optimize all elements of their finance organization, including operating model design, sustainable cost reduction, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, financial systems architecture, and full scale finance transformation. This high performing team helps CFOs identify, design and implement programs that transform their finance function to meet today’s demanding requirements while continuing to provide value added insights to the business.

The Account Executive will work with senior leadership to develop global and regional strategies for the account including priority areas, relationship maps, solutions, and teams. The Account Executive will build relationships with key existing clients and potential clients. The Account Executive will coordinate with teams pursuing account projects to help maintain compliance, quality, and consistency with respect to relevant policies and procedures.

The Account Executive will lead and provide guidance to the account support team in white paper and proposal development, pricing, contracting, and other administrative requirements of the account.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 10 10 years or more in consulting or within the international finance sector is preferred.


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Managing large accounts or engagements within a consulting environment;

- Working with other cultures/countries while exhibiting strong global acumen;

- Utilizing and applying into projects an understanding of the World Bank Group, including the structure of global practices, funding flows, and/or the trust fund portfolio;



- Managing international financial services or DFI;







- Managing finance/financial services;

- Managing Information, communications, and technology;

- Managing Public-private partnerships and blended financing structures;

- Utilizing and applying into projects an understanding of public financial management, public sector reform, urbanization, private sector development and climate change/sustainability; and,

- Utilizing and applying into projects an understanding of PwC’s capabilities, structure, and operating model.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Managing projects and programs;

- Managing the needs of diverse teams with competing priorities and ability to creatively problem solve;

- Multitasking capabilities while simultaneously addressing multiple stockholders and activities;

- Utilizing and applying into projects an understanding of pursuit and proposal processes for public sector/multilateral organizations;

- Communicating effectively through written or verbal channels to internal and external clients; and,

-Maintain and forming client relationships, identifying client needs, and bringing the right PwC team to help address identified needs.
