Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.

Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.

The Domestic and International Accounting Operations team oversees the functions and processes related to financial operations of the US Firm and it's Foreign subsidiaries.

The Domestic Tax Accounting Department is responsible for the Tax and Cash ledger accounting and reporting, Cash Income projections and Taxable Net Income projections. This team provides financial data and analysis to the Partnership Tax department and partners with senior leadership in developing and implementing tax planning strategies.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Certification(s) Preferred: CPA

Knowledge Preferred:
Working knowledge of:
quarterly equity roll-forward schedules.
monthly and/or Year-end closing processes
.
cash/tax basis detailed net income planning/projection analyses
.
multi-taxable income projections.

research and/or prepare entries for accounting transactions.
Working knowledge of financial reporting in the areas of project maintenance, cost management and operational analysis.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners, finance leaders and stakeholders and providing analytical and technical assistance to staff.
Demonstrated experience developing changes and/or additions to existing reporting packages.


Proven ability to prepare and distribute standard and/or ad hoc financial reports.
Demonstrated experience preparing cash/tax basis analyses, quarterly equity roll-forward schedules, and year-end reports.
Proven experience providing management with assistance in regards to technical and/or analytical matters, and accounting functions.
Proven ability to provide effective data reporting across departments.
Proven ability to help establish that process enhancements, flows and procedures for service areas are documented and kept current.
Proven ability for the work product and quality of staff within the team, making necessary modifications, helping to establish that staff are kept up-to-date with changes to policies and procedures and mitigating risk by monitoring and following-up on outstanding issues.
