Job Description
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is the U.S. Firm's legal department, providing dedicated legal support to the partnership. OGC divides its resources into six practice groups:

Litigation, which oversees claims and regulatory proceedings involving the firm and its personnel.

Counseling, which supports the individual Lines of Service with respect to practice issues, as well as advises on regulatory issues.

Corporate, which advises the firm on matters relating to its operations, including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial contracting, governance and partnership law matters, privacy and treasury affairs.

Commercial, which supports the firm's client contracting function.

Employment, which advises on matters related to employees and partners of the firm.

Tech, IP & Data Protection, which advises the firm on intellectual property, technology transactional matters, data issues and data privacy.

The eDiscovery team is primarily responsible for in-house Electronic Data Discovery(EDD) consulting to OGC attorneys, paralegals, and case personnel on the Firm's data sources, current technology and vendors available to address EDD support needs.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Legal discovery processes and of the financial related regulatory requirements; and,

- Litigation process and workflow and of the Federal rules of civil procedure addressing discovery of electronically stored information.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Working with any of the following products/tools: Lotus Notes/Domino, Google products, Relativity or other document review platforms, and data processing technologies such as NUIX;

- Providing e-discovery and/or litigation support services;

- Supporting Office of General Counsel Attorneys and Outside Counsel in the discovery and document production process in litigation and regulatory matters;

- Demonstrating analytical and investigative skills;

- Working under tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks; and,

- Utilizing and applying project management skills into assigned responsibilities.


The eDiscovery team is primarily responsible for in-house Electronic Data Discovery(EDD) consulting to OGC attorneys, outside counsel and engagement teams on the Firm's data sources, current technology and vendors available to address EDD support needs, including preservation and collection .
