Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.

Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.

The Reporting and Compliance team includes Budgeting and Management Reporting, External Reporting, Compliance and Controls, and Reporting Services.

The Reporting Services team provides relevant business information to decision makers in a streamlined manner, while continuously adapting to new tools.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in business intelligence (BI) solutions, such as QlikView, QlikSense, and Tableau, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including the following areas:

- Utilizing graphic design solutions within the Adobe suite including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere;

- Creating design methods using BI solutions to deliver a variety of reporting needs in a visual manner;

Implementing creative design methods that enhance visual appeal and user experience;

- Providing direction to team members;

- Recognizing ineffective strategies;

- Recommending alternative approaches or solutions to capitalize on change;

- Supporting and independently completing project tasks;

- Coaching, leading, and mentoring team members to establish a consistent level of quality;

- Identifying key drivers of a defined, straightforward problem and propose solutions;

- Identifying and solving problems using analysis, experience, and decision making;

- Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements;

- Providing solutions that are technologically sound, functionally simple and polished;

- Creating reporting solutions that have a high visual impact; and,

- Encouraging continuous learning and knowledge sharing amongst team members.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success developing and executing new techniques, policies and procedures, defining and managing strategic projects for a global network of professional services firms, emphasizing the following areas:

- Anticipating a range of possible solutions and opportunities, using research, analysis and consultation to reach sound conclusions;

- Assessing and suggesting proactive staffing changes so the team has the capability, competency and time to perform the compliance and control function;



- Building, supervising and consulting on multiple applications;

- Aligning skill sets with overall project objectives;

- Supervising others with build, general design, and consulting projects; and,

- Coaching staff, resolving staff issues, setting performance goals, preparing and delivering training for the group, preparing annual performance reviews, participating in annual performance review processes, and managing the lifecycle of employees from hiring to terminations.
