Job Description
The Global Independence group performs as the implementation arm of the Global Independence Leadership Team, responsible for assisting the territory independence leaders. The Global Independence functions have a direct impact on the activities of territory-level independence compliance and risk management leaders and staff.

More generally, the systems and processes impact personal decisions regarding financial (investment and borrowing) activities and business decisions regarding the independence impact of prospective work and business arrangements.

The Global Independence Operations group

back office team has operations support responsibility for global independence compliance systems, processes and project initiatives as directed by the Global Independence Leadership Team (GILT) and managed by the Global Independence Operations Leader.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:
Extensive knowledge of all independence policies, both US and Global, of financial interests and all types of securities, quasi-governmental securities regulatory agencies and their data sources such as Edgar (US SEC) and Sedar (Canadian CSA). Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise, coach and develop staff. Demonstrated ability to interface with executive leaders and HR Leaders. Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions regarding vision and operations of the group and translate it into high performance and accurate output. Extensive experience to manage the compliance back office operation and Blue-I job within the information management group. Extensive experience with evaluation and implementation of policy changes, program expansion of simplification initiatives and maintenance of core independence applications including portfolio systems.
