Job Description
PwC established New Ventures to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build solutions for the growing digital market.

New Ventures identifies, develops, and commercializes technology-enabled solutions that deliver PwC value, knowledge, and experience to our clients. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within the Firm, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

The New Ventures Tech Operations team is focused on new builds and capabilities and, as such, leverages industry-standard and innovative technologies.

Most of these products will be cloud-native and are targeted at generating license revenue over services and engagements.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8 of proven success in overseeing the delivery of technology solutions using agile methods and with a minimum of 3 years experience with both onshore and offshore providers.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in an IT related field.

Knowledge Preferred:

The New Ventures Technology Operations Lead directly oversees the end-to-end delivery of Technology solutions including planning, communication, execution throughout the product lifecycle, and operations. Working with the broader team, they define the product vision, gather and prioritize product and customer requirements. The New Ventures Technology Operations Lead works closely with Stakeholders, while leading Architects, Software Developers, Scrum Masters and Service Managers to establish successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Planning and execution of projects to deliver Technology solutions;

- Leading teams using agile methods (Scrum, etc.) and establishing optimal flow (Kanban, etc.);

- Leading development of new business capabilities using technology;

- Leading cloud-based implementations and upgrades;

- Utilizing continuous Integration, DevOps, and financial management into projects;

- Teaming and resource management including formal coaching.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in guiding application development and the operations team including the following areas:

- Overseeing all development projects and all technical operational aspects for a specific business area's applications;

- Managing a portfolio of development and operations teams along with managing the technical support for the business applications;

- Translating the strategic direction of the business into technical considerations for the development and operations teams;

- Managing external and internal resources and quality/acceptance of deliverables;

- Leading teams to establish they are following the SDLC methodology selected for the project;

- Operating with independent authority and good judgement to resolve technical issues that pertain to the business applications under their area of responsibility;

- Maintaining continuity of technical knowledge that is significant to the successful operation of a particular business area;

- Leading teams in a rapidly changing environment including performance management, coaching for development, and resource assignment; and,

- Mentoring technical team members to increase business acumen including the ability to effectively communicate.
