Our Tax domain delivers world-class IT solutions across a diverse range of portfolios and business areas including Corporate, Partnership, State and Local Tax Services, etc. PwC has a strong commitment to using advanced technology to solve important problems and looks for people who like to think outside the box.

Our developer teams collaborate with senior technologists and architects across the PwC technology landscape to continually develop and expand their experiences by working in cloud platform development (Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, service integrations, custom front-end development, and enterprise products (on-prem and SaaS), while also learning external-facing and internal business processes.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in application development including the following areas:

- C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework 3.5 and later using Visual Studio 2013 [or later]
- Proficiency in SQL Server or other comparable databases such as MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL;
- Knowledge of object programming and software design patterns such as MVC, MVP, Singleton and factory;
- AngularJS, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, JQuery and JavaScript;
- WCF, LINQ and the Entity Framework;
- Building Application Integrations using REST and SOAP web services is a plus;
- Uing unit testing tools such as nUnit or MOQ;
- Source control using one of Git, Subversion, TFS;
- NoSQL Databases including MongoDB, Casandra, DocumentDB and related databases;
-Reporting including SSRS or any other BI [e.g Tableau, MicroStrategy];
- Cloud-based platforms and services [e.g. Google Cloud Platform, MS Azure, AWS];
- ETL tools [e.g

SSIS or Informatica];
- Content Management (Sharepoint 2013 and above);
- Continuous integration/continuous deployment [e.g. Git, Jenkins, TFS, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Gradle, Ant];
- NodeJS;
- Containers including Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift; and,
- Microservices.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in application development including the following areas:

- Working within established Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies including agile, scrum, iterative and waterfall to support the success of the larger IT organization;

- Continuously taking advantage of new technologies, concepts and business models; demonstrating a history of staying current in emerging technology trends;

- Developing applications in a self-directed and self disciplined manner;

- Researching and evaluating emerging technologies and novel approaches in order to make recommendations to enhance business processes and create competitive advantage to PwC;

- Working collaboratively with other developers, including participating in code reviews;

- Thinking analytically to identify, debug, and resolve technical issues;

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in resolving complex technical issues: providing design guidance that follow the enterprise architecture vision and adheres to applicable application technology guidelines; and understanding and mitigating the impact of technical design to security, performance and data privacy; and,

- Demonstrating significant contributions within a small team of developers to deliver solutions within an Agile methodology, whilst establishing quality, timeliness and team-wide adherence to good architectural practice and guidelines.
