Job Description
PwC's Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.

Our sales organization is focused on identifying and winning specific new business opportunities to generate profitable revenue growth. The PwC brand is leveraged and further strengthened throughout the mix of sales activities, which include: Identifying and facilitating client relationships with priority accounts; Matching specific client needs to Firm services; Facilitating and contributing to proposal opportunities and client presentations; and, Developing and overseeing the use of best practice-based sales methodologies and tools.

The Sales Strategy Group (SSG) assists the Firm’s practices, lines, sectors or markets to increase our sales opportunities or win rates.

Where the opportunity for improvement exists, SSG utilizes the knowledge of our Firm mechanics and Marketing and Sales structure to apply best practices in coaching large pursuits and winning more work and initiatives focused on building more relationships with more economic buyers.
The SSG group supports and leads projects focused on demonstrating progression in sales pipeline, revenue growth and documented improvement among Partners and Staff to sell/build relationships in the market. The group works with a wide array of functional areas within the firm to help conceptualize, lead and build consensus around initiatives and activities aligned to support sales strategy and the business development objectives aligned with firm leadership’s priorities.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success being a strategic business partner for a national sales network interacting with the senior-most levels within a heavily matrixed organization and/or within a professional services firm, including the following areas:

- Managing accounts or business development key concepts that lead to identifying industry leading practices including customer targeting, relationship building tactics and sales campaign measurement;

-Taking strategic concepts and plans and operationalizing them into direct actions;

- Collaborating and sharing optimal industry practices and providing guidance, with broader teams and/or networks;

- Innovating and improving on focused sharing and identifying the latest techniques across business teams, a sales network, and stakeholders;

- Creating a standardized coaching process and peer sales coaching network to drive leading practices;

- Managing data analysis and creating recommendations, forecasts, and direction for management understanding and analysis; and,

- Developing and executing new joiners on-boarding to the sales network.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success being a strategic business partner for a national sales network interacting with the senior-most levels within a heavily matrixed organization and/or within a professional services firm, including the following areas:

- Leveraging multiple service offerings and key business/industry issues that affect companies with the intent to support long term impact as they relate to strategic initiatives (such as firmwide sales/solutions campaigns), objectives and preparing analysis with recommendations;

- Monitoring usage and encouraging adoption of business development tools by driving integration into sales processes (Pursuit, Salesforce, Eloqua, etc.);

-Creating and owning sales campaigns, both at the strategic level and an operational, tactical level;

- Researching and driving enablement tools and technologies to enhance performance;

- Researching and utilizing analytical skills to pull out data/information and provide synopses for stakeholders;

- Leveraging analytics and reporting to track sales network success, including Return on Investment, Cost of Sales, Sourced Revenues and Margins, aligning with productivity metrics and Key Performance Indicators;

- Motivating teams of individuals who do not have direct reporting relationship as well as working independently and as a team player to build and maintain relationships with staff and leadership;

- Utilizing extensive analytical and communication skills to develop, communicate and support a point of view to firm leadership, including presenting and communicating to large groups;

- Viewing a topic from multiple perspectives and having the flexibility to shift approaches as circumstances dictate, while seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;

- Leveraging project management capabilities to lead and drive deadlines; and,

- Using technical tools such as MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google suite including Docs, Slides and Sheets.
