Job Description
PWC IT is responsible for the success of our central technology efforts in our federated business model.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for setting and maintaining the firm's Solutions Architecture, i.e., the framework within which all IT applications and services are delivered.

The Solutions Architect reflects and enables the business strategy of the firm and accommodates changes to that strategy.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrated and proven extensive knowledge and understanding of Solution Architecture concepts and implementations. Demonstrated understanding and/or experience of working in a professional services organisation.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to:
- Align strategic business needs with the IT service delivery model.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT Strategy & Solutions Architecture
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the business capabilities / IT services mapping
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the business and PwC IT roadmaps
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the PwC IT Governance processes
- Engage with vendors and third parties in respect of futures
- Contribute to the enterprise architecture to integrate processes and systems to maximize value and minimize impact associated with the change; and work with business leadership to understand and set enterprise architecture direction to realize Firm strategic initiatives.
- Proven communication and influencing skills both within the business and the IT communities.
- Proven ability to encourage creativity and forward-thinking suggestions. Demonstrated experience in a wide range of technical areas with a thorough technical understanding.
