Job Description
The Global Independence group performs as the implementation arm of the Global Independence Leadership Team, responsible for assisting the territory independence leaders. The Global Independence functions have a direct impact on the activities of territory-level independence compliance and risk management leaders and staff.

More generally, the systems and processes impact personal decisions regarding financial (investment and borrowing) activities and business decisions regarding the independence impact of prospective work and business arrangements.

The Global Independence Program Management team supports end-to-end program and project management service, including input to work plans, project scope, project estimates, resources, timing, interdependencies etc. to provide and establish strategic alignment.

As part of the PMO, the Product team is responsible for driving the identification, development, implementation, acceptance and integration of compliance simplification opportunities and products that support the Global Independence shared compliance responsibility strategy in the execution of day-to-day activities.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts preferably within a global professional services firm or comparable large enterprise firm, within the private sector involving the oversight of staff, initiatives and related activities within a Global Independence Center, including he following areas:

- Leading the oversight in conceptual, planning, analysis and implementation phases of projects;

- Maintaining project-tracking metrics, and providing the appropriate report out;

- Managing the portfolio of project that support the Global Independence Center;

- Providing budget support and maintenance of program metrics to support compliance strategies, conducting related analytics and other initiatives, as needed;

- Overseeing product management, including the integration of communications and training solutions, and;

- Championing the evolution of existing programs to meet Firm needs, including participating in the planning of new compliance programs.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in partnering with a Global Independence Center function within a global professional services firm or comparable large enterprise firm within the private sector to build and execute project portfolios that support and drive the overall strategic plan of Independence and its partners, including the following areas:

- Managing the Independence and Compliance lifecycle re-architecture of existing stand-alone applications into an integrated platform;

- Developing and sustaining relationships using networking, negotiation, influence and persuasion skills with senior leadership, (i.e. C-Suite and one level down), to drive acceptance and support for Independence strategic initiatives and related programs;

- Leading project requests and resource management across the Global Independence function to provide for strategic alignment against staffing needs and overall Independence initiatives, emphasizing functions involving independence-related communications and education;

– Interfacing with the global Information Technology Solution Director and Solution Manager on the identification of Independence and Compliance technology opportunities;

– Establishing direction and motivating team members, as well as creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation, and;

- Leading functional areas, to include supervising the team.
