Job Description
Partner Affairs is comprised of Partner Admissions, Firm Governance, Partner Compensation, Partner Talent Management, Partner Development, Administration, HRIS/IT/Web and National Benefits.

The Partner Administration Center of US Partner Affairs administers distributions to active and retired partners, manages the U.S. partnership Human Capital processes, security and reporting, the partner income system, the partner international program, allocates partnership income, controls partner equity and investment accounts, manages capital and other funding, develops and administers partner retirement plans and provides other financial services to the partnership.

The Partner Administration Retirement Group is comprised of two teams; Retirement Distributions and Retirement Benefits.



The Retirement Distributions team manages and participates in the day-to-day operations with significant responsibility for (1) monthly pension distributions, (2) annual cost of living adjustments (3) deceased partner settlements & survivor packages (4) forecasting pension distributions (5) financial reporting (6) account reconciliations and journal entries, (7) vendor management.

The Retirement Benefits team manages and participates in the day-to-day operations with significant responsibility for (1) administering the partner retirement plans, such as computing benefits, creating benefit summaries, election forms and payroll change forms (2) key contact for active, retiring and retired partners advising them of their benefits (3) retiring partner communications (4) maintaining several partner databases (5) updating components of the Active and Retired Partner Portals (6) Independence and Income Verifications.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge of, and/or success in roles performing, partnership-related retirement benefits and distributions for a global network of professional services consulting firms, emphasizing the following areas:



- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, including preparing, manipulating and delivering effective reporting of data and statistical information
especially identifying variances and remediating corrections quickly.

- Maintenance of monthly distributions, including understanding types of income (accrual, cash, and liquidated) and understanding the differences between fiscal, tax and calendar years;
- Management of key relationships providing support and delivery of appropriate information timely and accurately;
- Project ownership and management, emphasizing completion within timelines, identifying and elevating issues early, proposing solutions and communicating them effectively to team members; and,
- Utilization of technology to improve and implement controls and procedures that enable timely and accurate processing, analysis, and reporting.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates proven thorough skills and success with performing partnership-related retirement benefits and distributions for a global network of professional services consulting firms, emphasizing the following areas:



-Developing and learning through every opportunity, quickly comprehending complexity and being intellectually curious;

-Displaying extensive organizational and analytical skills to process and assimilate complex data, as well as resolve issues and proactively report potential issues, through an advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. writing complex formulas utilizing functions within the formulas, pivot tables, power pivot, Vlookup and And functions, etc.) and an intermediate knowledge of Access (e.g. setting up databases and writing queries);

-Communicating with confidence and clarity, emphasizing customer service (verbal and written) and responding to client requests accurately, promptly and professionally;

-Completing account reconciliations and journal entries for checks and wires.

-Managing and coordinating multiple tasks to establish quality results, accuracy and completeness.
