Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.

Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.

The Cross Line of Service Management Reporting team is responsible for developing the Reporting strategy and producing and analyzing all reports related to Finance operations, Clients, Markets and Sectors, Line of Service (LoS) Finance and Leadership & Management reports.

This team is responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with LoS Finance Leadership, Firmwide Finance Leadership, US Financial Services Leadership, and the Budget & Analysis Team to assess and deliver on the needs of the organizations and is responsible for developing a sustainable governance structure and standardized reporting across all reporting segments and LoS.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and/or proven record of success in managerial roles involving the development, production, and analysis of financial operations reports, preferably for a global network of professional service firms, emphasizing the following areas:

- Developing and analyzing operational reporting requests (including Clients, Markets and Sectors; Line of Service (LOS) Finance and Leadership & Management reports);
- Utilizing benchmarking methodologies;


- Identifying, anticipating, and resolving technical issues;


- Providing direction to team members; and,
- Recognizing ineffective strategies recommending alternative approaches or solutions to capitalize on change.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or proven record of success with development, production, and analysis of financial operations reports, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including in the following areas:

- Driving and executing project management, emphasizing concept/scale, and determining time frames and required resources;
- Providing clear guidance to team members for multiple work streams;
- Collaborating with stakeholders/cross functional teams;
- Developing and executing new techniques, policies and procedures;
- Defining and managing strategic projects aimed at improving efficiencies;
- Performing analyses for operational reporting requests;
- Anticipating a range of possible solutions and opportunities, using research, analysis and consultation to reach sound conclusions;
- Completing, with little or no guidance, ad hoc assignments or projects;
- Mentoring junior team members;
- Writing, communicating, facilitating and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of internal staff and management; and,
- Working with Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, Data Modelling, Informatica, and

ETL.


Performing data analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods, via tools such as Alteryx, QlikView or Tableau
