Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

LoS Finance, which is comprised of Vertical, Regional and Business Unit (BU) teams, is the primary interface to partners and client service staff.  They are responsible for working closely with their Leaders in developing, improving, and driving financial and operational processes for the business.  This will include developing and executing budgets and forecasts, asset management (i.e. billings and collections activities), and overseeing engagement economics for individual partners, clients, verticals, markets, BUs, and regions.  They will manage portfolios at the various reporting levels as well as identify opportunities for the Firm to gain competitive advantages. 

As part of the Advisory finance team, the Cross Border Facilitation supports engagement and/or project teams and international business travelers ("IBTs") who travel across borders as part of their employment with PwC US.

Position/Program Requirements
Basic Qualifications: Proven ability to manage multiple engagements at once and provide practical, implementable guidance with respect to cross border issues.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrated knowledge of cross border services, such as immigration, international or assignee taxes, or global mobility and/or deployment.

Skills Preferred:

Proven ability to:

Work with various support functions to research, analyze and evaluate immigration, tax, payroll, export control and security requirements arising on cross-border engagements and other cross-border travel.

Develop and provide guidance on pricing and costing cross-border and global jobs to help maximize profitability.

Communicate the results of the aforementioned analysis, thereby supporting risk management, tax, payroll, finance and legal by enabling compliance with established U.S. Firm policies and procedures

Inform clients of local contacts within foreign territories who can provide advice

Develop and deliver training regarding the Cross Border Facilitation scope of services, similarly, market these services to potential internal clients and other organizations within the Firm.

Recommend and develop solutions for improving the quality and efficiency or services delivered.

Research, maintain, and update knowledge in the fields of cross-border services, International Business Traveler practices worldwide and the global economy in general.

Participate in and lead special projects as required

Support learning and development team members, including, but not limited to the development and delivery of learning and education to fellow staff and training/developing newer team members.

Act in partnership / work across geographic and organizational boundaries with the groups supporting the Cross Border Facilitation team
Prior professional experience in the area of immigration, global mobility/deployment,

or taxation (international and/or assignee).
