Job Description
With constant legislative, regulatory and judicial changes, companies operating across borders are challenged to follow and comprehend ever-changing developments. At the same time, globalization, economic realities, operational adjustments, and corporate mandates require tax departments to adjust and adapt their internal initiatives to a changing business environment. The combination of these equally important streams requires tax departments to be agile, well-versed in internal and external developments, and able to deal with competing goals and interests. Understanding the tax impact on business operations and transactions across jurisdictions is vital to the success of any multinational corporation today.

The Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) International Tax Services practice is comprised of a group of professionals focusing on the U.S. federal income tax considerations primarily related to foreign persons' activities in the United States, U.S. persons' activities outside the United States, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, and insurance companies.

The professionals in the WNTS ITS practice provide services to clients directly and in conjunction with PwC professionals in local offices.

As a senior associate in the WNTS ITS practice, you will play a critical role in supporting all aspects of the group's work, including researching technical issues, drafting tax memoranda, developing curricula for the larger PwC ITS practice, and engaging in thought leadership.
