Job Description

New Ventures identifies, develops, and commercializes technology-enabled solutions that deliver PwC value, knowledge, and experience to our clients. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within the Firm, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

The Cybersecurity team helps our clients perform assessments and prepare for and respond to the tactical and strategic impacts of cybersecurity incidents. The team assists in understanding the unique threats to clients organizations through analysis of the threat landscape, while also leverage government, law enforcement, and peer resources to more effectively combat threats through information sharing opportunities such as ISAOs and information sharing models.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree Cybersecurity, International Relations, Political Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Conducting qualitative due diligence, internal investigations, and external inquiries on corporate entities and affiliates, commercial and private sector intelligence-gathering, market/competitive research, secondary market data source research and other business intelligence data sources;
- Utilizing and applying knowledge of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act provisions and current enforcement trends into projects;
- Understanding of effective anti-corruption and anti-bribery programs, related international treaties, regulatory framework, corporate ethics, compliance, transparency programs, and public and private sector counter-fraud measures; and,
- Utilizing and applying knowledge of the law, legal cases, and regulatory processes into projects is preferred.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Researching various business information and investigative databases;
- Analyzing information, as well as drafting and reviewing formal written reports and presenting ideas to small or large groups;
- Utilizing project management skills to manage tasks according to strict deadlines;
- Understanding the importance of effective time management;
- Building and maintaining an active network of internal and external intelligence sources;
- Interpreting qualitative and quantitative information and weave together disparate data to develop relevant insights and determine business implications;
- Synthesizing large amounts of data into concise, written reports and presentations, with actionable recommendations, demonstrating functional abilities with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word);
- Managing multiple, concurrent projects and meeting deadlines while working both independently and in a team environment;
- Applying business judgement analytically and strategically for the purposes of identifying an entity or individuals subtle risk features and/or identifying and addressing client needs;
- Managing and prioritizing multiple projects and requirements simultaneously;
- Influencing and impacting others through building and defending arguments and reaching consensus;
- Demonstrating a flexible work style, sufficient to function effectively with changing directives and priorities, where all information is not known;
- Utilizing effective written and verbal business communication skills when collaborating and interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management in client discussions and meetings, as well as conducting interviews; and,
- Demonstrating business levels of fluency in a second language, specifically Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Arabic.
