Job Description
Our clients are focused on improving business performance, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations, and extracting value from transactions. Our growing Industrial Products and Services industry team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help a diverse set of clients around the world anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. This industry vertical team includes​ clients within the​​ Industrial Products​ and ​Energy​, Utilities & Mining sectors.

PwC's Strategy& Technology Strategists help clients make technology a strategic enabler of business success through our interrelated service areas: digital and IT strategy, process transformation, structural change e.g., mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, and technology innovation.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree


Degree Preferred: Master's degree or Doctorate


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Due diligence – researching and providing executive level summaries of competitive markets, customers, and trends;
- Program value realization – helping clients plan, structure, and execute large scale system transformations;
- IT strategy and effectiveness – assisting clients with IT mergers and acquisitions, technology evaluations, enterprise operating model design and governance, and demand management;
- ERP / Sourcing strategy – helping clients with technology ecosystem market analysis, business case development, vendor due diligence, and software and SI selection and contracting;
- Program/Project standup and management (overall PMO);
- Business requirements analysis – requirements elicitation, use case development, and requirements traceability maintenance;
- Business case development – cost/benefit model and scenario analysis;
- Infrastructure architecture – understanding of cloud, both private and public, and mobility;
- Understanding of industry standard enterprise software platform (e.g. SAP, Oracle), its industry vertical solutions, and its ecosystem partners; and,
- Working knowledge of one or more target industries – Oil and Gas, Utilities, Chemicals.

- Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members and fostering a productive team work environment;
- Leading project workstreams and working in complex team environments;
- Collecting and utilizing relevant business and industry trend information and analyzing this information by applying numerical and strategic analysis techniques;
- Planning and delivering discrete sections of work against tight deadlines;
- Gathering data and ramp-up including interviewing, surveying, and secondary market research;
- Executing quantitative and qualitative analyses;
- Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of audiences, clients and internal staff and management; and,
- Facilitating the resolution of client conflict as well as conflicts with third-party software and services providers.
