Job Description
The Tax Management Technology team uses data visualization and mining tools to build effective financial reporting and make sense of large volumes of financial data. Data insights and project economics are published online.

The team pulls the data from various financial systems and sources, including ERPs, cleans it, and combines it for effective reporting.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 1

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting provided all of the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations.

Certification(s) Required: CPA or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in real estate tax compliance and consulting.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success utilizing technical skills to provide tax services to real estate owners, developers and publically traded REITs including the following areas:

- Working experience identifying and addressing client needs;
- Building solid relationships with clients;
- Developing an awareness of Firm services;
- Communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner;
- Delivering clear requests for information;
- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor;
- Leveraging working experience as a team member by understanding personal and team roles;
- Contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members;
- Proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; and,
- Providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff.
