Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

The Partnership Tax group is made up of two teams: Domestic Tax and International Tax. These teams are responsible for work related to the Firm's tax obligations in all jurisdictions (i.e., filing the Firm's federal, state and foreign income tax returns, sales and use tax, other ad valorem tax returns), managing tax audits, and supporting the partners' individual tax planning and compliance.

The Ad Valorem Tax group is responsible for the review and preparation of the Firm's ad valorem returns.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 7

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

Certification(s) Preferred: CPA

Knowledge Preferred:
Considerable knowledge of ad valorem taxes.
Considerable knowledge of the Firm's financial systems, business processes, and organization structure and the Firm's legal structure as it relates to filing requirements for the Firm and all of its related entities.
Considerable knowledge of international, federal, state, local tax return preparation, tax regulations, tax compliance and tax issues.

Skills Preferred:

Extensive experience leading and managing the preparation of foreign, federal, state and local tax returns and supporting schedules for the Firm and partners.
Extensive experience monitoring tax compliance requirements and managing ongoing foreign tax audits.
Extensive experience researching strategies to minimize the tax liabilities and risks, making decisions regarding preparation of tax schedules for tax returns, and solving complex issues impacting tax returns.
Extensive experience prioritizing multiple tax filing requirements and working effectively with partners and audit agencies to establish the timely receipt and response of relevant information needed for all tax filings and tax audits.
Demonstrated the ability to coordinate with other departments within the Firm to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for preparation of Firm's tax returns.
Demonstrated experience coaching and participating in the hiring process to help establish a department with high quality staff.
Demonstrated experience as a team leader who can build solid relationships with partners, directors, managers, staff members, and other departments, create a positive environment, monitor workloads of team members, provide meaningful feedback to partners' and agencies' questions in a timely manner, and keep leadership and staff

informed of progress and issues.
