Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

The Treasury team manages the firm's capital structure, cash management operations, financial and enterprise risk management functions, and provides extensive transaction support to the firm’s strategic initiatives. The Treasury team also manages the firm's investments, maintains the firm’s banking, insurance and investment relationships, and supports for the firm’s financial planning and reporting operations, including cash forecasting, budgeting and account reconciliation.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 1

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates some knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Treasury and its functions;

- Preliminary reviews of Insurance provisions included in all client service and procurement contracts for conformity with firm’s current insurance policies;
- Monthly reporting preparation on claims, policy renewals, and other Operational Risk Management activities;
- Insurance renewals;
- The Firm’s organizational structure, financial systems, and financial metrics; and,
- The Firm's business rules and applications.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Interact with the Treasury group to resolve issues, accurately answer inquiries, and report on potential issues;
- Make recommendations independently regarding action plans;
- Assist with researching, synthesizing information, and creating offering memoranda and due diligence materials for all new financings;
- Assist with resolution of due diligence questions from banks or private placement investors;
- Assist with execution and post execution activities for all financings;
- Prepare private placement wire transfer requests for payment of principal and interest and coordinate timely processing and payments;
- Assist with creation of models or analyses to assess impact of various events, planned and unplanned, on the firm's financial statements and/or investments;
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders;
- Work independently as well as in a team environment;
- Demonstrate organizational and project management skills;
- Work under pressure and meet critical deadlines;
- Coordinate multiple tasks;
- Maintain confidentiality; and,
- Interact with leaders to resolve issues, accurately and concisely answer inquiries, and proactively report potential issues to management.
