Job Description
PwC established New Ventures to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build solutions for the growing digital market.

New Ventures identifies, develops, and commercializes technology-enabled solutions that deliver PwC value, knowledge, and experience to our clients. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within the Firm, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

The Quality Assurance team is responsible for quality advocacy, planning, design, implementation, testing, reporting, and metrics for both manual and automated testing. The onshore QA Leadership Team is responsible for managing offshore personnel developing the automated test suite, coordinating across a cross-disciplinary team (UI/UX, DevOps, developers, testers) and promoting standards and processes for improving QA effectiveness.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8 in software quality assurance or 10 or more years in software quality assurance and experience leading teams both onshore and offshore.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Selenium and other Test Automation frameworks;
- Web technologies (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc), data formats (XML, JSON, YAML) and data stores (HDFS/Hadoop, RDBMS/SQL, NoSQL);
- Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies for enterprise scale / high-traffic / multi-tier applications;
- Remote and offshore teams;
- Agile environment;
- DevOps and Continuous Integration testing strategies; and,
- Software test engineering.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

- Leading cross organizational teams to establish standards for Quality;
- Creating Assurance testing and defining tool suites for automation platforms;
- Demonstrating effective organizational, written, and communication skills;
- Managing offshore teams in the implementation of automated regression tests;
- Creating reusable, extendable and sustainable automation suite by influencing design for testing strategies in the scrum teams;
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offering suggestions on how best to deliver solutions;
- Establishing and setting the tone for adherence to appropriate standards and quality procedures across the QA organization; and,
- Coordinating across product teams to assess and plan QA resource needs.
