Job Description
The PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Office advances and fosters integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organization.

We promote and monitor compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures, and thus help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.

The Government Ethics and Compliance (E&C) team has responsibility for providing guidance and counseling on all aspects of working with federal, state and local governments and multilateral entities.

We support teams working on both public sector and commercial clients.

In addition, we provide guidance on trade compliance matters, which includes complying with sanctions and export control laws; our overall responsibilities include identifying regulatory and business requirements; drafting and obtaining approval for policies; establishing and executing internal controls; training and messaging; and supporting overall compliance within the firm.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:
Working knowledge of federal, state and local government contracting compliance requirements which may be used to develop policies and procedures and controls responsive to these requirements. Working knowledge to identify and mitigate risks in such areas as, government ethics requirements; conflicts of interest; gifts and gratuities; lobbying; campaign finance; anti-corruption; and, government post-employment restrictions. Demonstrated knowledge of controls and risk mitigation, with the proven ability to and skills to execute audits; compliance reviews and data management plans.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to: Establish and implement effective compliance controls and provide guidance to business teams on federal, state and local government contract compliance requirements; government ethics requirements; conflicts of interest; gifts and gratuities; lobbying; campaign finance; anti-corruption and export controls; and, government post-employment restrictions. Amend and improve the effectiveness of a government contract compliance program. Develop policies, procedures, and controls responsive to the aforementioned requirements. Identify and mitigate risks in federal, state and local government contracting, export controls, FCPA as well as other anti-corruption requirements. Ability to collaborate with others and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Lotus Notes; Excel; Word; and Visio. Demonstrated ability to identify trends and improve government-related ethics and compliance operations.
