Job Description

Our growing Consumer Markets industry team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help a diverse set of clients around the world anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. This industry vertical team includes​ Consumer Products, Retail, Travel andTransportation clients.​

Our industry specific technology consultants help clients solve business challenges leveraging the latest industry applications.

This high performing team combines deep industry and technical expertise with the ability to manage large scale, complex, multi-year programs from strategy through execution to drive value for our clients.

This position will architect, develop, and maintain solutions dealing with data in motion and complex event processing. Additionally this role will primarily focus on real time data acquisition and processing of sensor data from wells and associated processing equipment

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8


Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree MIS, Computer science, mathematics or engineering degree


Degree Preferred: Graduate degree Business Administration or Engineering


Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of, and/or success in roles managing, relationships between various IT applications and systems as it relates to subsurface, drilling and production which includes the following areas:
- big data, real time data, system architecture and predictive analytics;
- how oilfield data moves from sensors to satellite to customer site;
- Entity Relationship Diagrams and a demonstrated thorough understanding of enterprise infrastructure;
- authoring technical documentation;
- technical problem solving;
- data analytics and visualization tools, programming, code testing strategy, real time data processing;
- oilfield architecture, equipment, protocols, industry standard data models including PLC/RTU, SCADA, data historians, Modbus, OPC, WITSML and PPDM;
- in working with all levels of management;
- developing complex event processing tools; and
- pattern analysis, knowledge management, and data manipulation.


Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive-level with, abilities and/or a proven record of success, managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs including the following:
- performing the following functions of project lifecycle, including conducting assessments, writing strong business requirements, developing the components of an architecture, and leading an implementation of the architecture;
- taking ownership and delivering on large-ized tasks or leading a small team at client site with short turnaround time and minimal guidance;
- demonstrating ability to quickly change directions and learn and demonstrate complex concepts;
- communicating complex concepts cohesively and quickly to clients, business partners and coworkers;
- understanding dynamic relationships with clients;
- driving the alignment of strategic IT solutions with business objectives;
- utilizing multiple methods to resolve complex design issues;
- multitasking (including client and internal work) maintaining quality and/or timeliness of work;
- developing; strong relationships with the technical spokes of our practice;
- making decisions with the ability to investigate and weigh alternatives and prove a case for the course of action that provides the greatest benefit to the client;
- displaying professional skepticism and questions that lead to process and team improvements;
- searching for and implementation of new ways of doing business more effectively;
- grasping multiple complex concepts, and applying the knowledge to develop a solution for complex problems;
- problem solving with the ability to look for root causes and implementable, workable solutions;
- using interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and participate as an independent contributor with little supervision or as an active team member depending on the situation and needs;
- utilizing problem solving skills and apply PwC processes on engagement; and
- collaborating with IT delivery teams to meet the demands of Operations.
