Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

The Real Estate Department provides a comprehensive suite of services to its internal customers including: real estate financial analysis and reporting; budgeting and forecasting; site selection and delivery of space all while controlling costs. This organization's operations are housed in Tampa focused on helping Line of Service Leaders, Market Leaders, Sector Leaders and their partners and managers deliver the Unique Client Experience. From site selection to space delivery and beyond
everything we do is focused on our current and prospective clients, while delivering a high quality product.

National Real Estate Business Intelligence (NREBI) team turns Big Data into smart data. The team sources, curates, analyzes and presents data to answer key business questions that drive the complete real estate lifecycle of the firm's portfolio of 93 offices and over 5.5M Rentable Square Feet serving nearly 50K employees.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4


Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED


Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree


Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the commercial real estate process and business intelligence including the following areas:

- Assessing data sources for quality and key fields to leverage for integration with other data sources;
- Curating and cleaning data sources to reduce redundancy and improve quality using scripts and tools like Alteryx;
- Manipulating and restructuring relational databases and combine with other data sources;
- Analyzing and visualizing data to answer business questions using tools like Tableau or PowerBI;
- Analyzing data and producing summary statistics using R, Excel or other statistical software;
- Employing quantitative and qualitative research and analyzing methods to answer business questions;
- Verbally presenting and explaining analysis results to customers in a manner that they can easily understand; and,
- Conceptualizing, building and automating analysis models, reports and dashboards that reveal actionable data to drive our customers’ decisions.


Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the combination of developing business analytics intelligence and commercial real estate functions in the following areas:

- Analyzing large complex data sources and generating useful conclusions and actionable recommendations;
- Creating, supporting and maintaining data models, reports and dashboards;
- Designing and producing reports, dashboards, and analyses that present information in a way that maximizes insight and action for end users;
- Evolving and improving our existing suite of dashboards and reports, with a particular focus on increasing usage and automation;
- Cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data from multiple sources using various tools like Alteryx, Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), etc.;
- Using database management and querying tools such as SQL, Python, VBA, and/or other Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) technical skills;
- Compiling, analyzing and validating large data sets and identifying potential errors in final results;
- Presenting analyses to manager and others on the team;
- Analyzing and explaining changes in the company’s key performance indicators;
- Performing mathematical calculations, and maintaining organization;
- Adapting quickly in handling multiple evolving tasks as a result of new engagements and/or re-prioritizing deadlines;
- Solving problems requiring attention to detail; and,
- Educating end users on the use of dashboards and industry leading practices for their use.
