Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required.
Project Management Professional (PMP), CMMi, ITIL v 3.0, PMBOK, ISO certifications preferred.
A successful candidate will understand federal security standards and controls (NIST, DISA, HIPAA, OMB, etc.) and have experience applying these standards and controls to Federal operations. Sample activities include the following:
• Information security risk identification and management
• Review of IT controls over Federal operations and systems
• Testing of IT Controls and documentation and presentation of findings
• Application of security standards in reviews and assistance with corrective action plans
• IT Contingency and disaster recovery planning
During your full-time assignment, you will be given the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant issues faced by Federal agencies and owners and operators of the Nation's IT systems and operations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Job Requirements:
- 1-3+ years of relevant information technology review experience. Preference for CISA or CISSP certification.
- Experience in performing testing of information technology controls
- Understanding of information security risk management techniques applicable to the Federal space
- Familiar with Federal information security and control methodologies including NIST special publications (especially NIST SP 800-53 and 800-53a
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- - Travel up to 20% - 40% of the time
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- CISA or CISSP preferred
