The Financial Services Advisory practice is a large, growing team that provides business advice and related assistance to major financial institutions around the world. As a team member of our Consulting practice, you will provide advisory services focused on implementing process improvement solutions that strengthen accountability, and promote effective financial processes and procedures at Fortune 500 organizations. Financial Management team members identify, assess, analyze and mitigate some of the most significant financial issues these organizations. Project work may include involvement with financial process improvement, financial alignment with organizational goals, and enterprise-wide finance transformation. .

As part of the Advisory practice, the Risk Technology team leverages capabilities to solve critical regulatory issues impacting Finance and Risk groups today. The Risk Technologies mission is to advise and assist Finance, Risk, and Technology organizations to gain timely and accurate financial, regulatory and operational information to satisfy the current regulatory environment. The team's current focus is to help clients by:
-Assess the impact of regulations to the existing information architecture
-Assist with integration of Finance and Risk Information needs
Improving Internal and External reporting
Optimizing People and Organization structures
-Developing solutions to assist with new regulations such as Dodd-Frank, Basel III
-Standardization and simplification data governance processes
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of various regulatory issues such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, et al and how they affect clients operations, policies and processes within the Financial Services Industry.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of various risk management systems to manage Credit and Liquidity Risk within the Financial Services Industry.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of, and/or a proven record of success performing in a role, selling, executing and leading all aspects of complex engagements within the Risk organization and achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, including working independently, developing new market-differentiated solutions, and leading proposal development efforts.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of risk technology consulting, emphasizing a proven record of success assisting clients in the selection, implementation and support of various packaged solutions such as Calypso, ALGO, Fermat, FinServ, et al.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of data management processes to help articulate the inputs and outputs across risk systems architecture, emphasizing defining data governance processes that include data quality programs to remediate data issues.
A completed and obtained Masters of Business Administration degree and/or an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license are preferred.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and broad subject matter expertise with risk management architecture and systems to help clients enhance and define solutions for management, regulatory, statuary reporting.
Demonstrates thorough abilities to lead requirement gathering and vendor selection for clients risk management processes, especially as it relates to credit and liquidity management systems.
Demonstrates thorough ability to liaise between business and technology resources across the end-to-end risk data architecture starting from source systems to reporting and/or regulatory calculations.
Demonstrates thorough ability to design, build, and implementation of risk management systems such as such as Calypso, ALGO, Fermant, FinServ, et al.
Demonstrates thorough ability to identifying and address client needs, which includes the following: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
