Job Description:
US IT supports and develops internal systems and applications for use by PWC staff in all areas of the Firm.

The Solution Architect Advisor team will focus on project solution architecture, pursuit strategy and approach, integration and problem solving. The team will use its deep knowledge of enterprise architecture across a wide depth and breadth of application areas ( i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.) and understanding of the firm's global delivery model to lead client service teams in defining high level enterprise-wide architecture by focusing on the mapping of Firm capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrated experience in a wide range of technical areas with a thorough technical understanding that includes the Firm's enterprise architecture, IT technology Standards, development standards and application technologies with a specific expertise in architecture and high level design and system development.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrated ability to:

Deliver successful high risk IT projects

Deliver Initial Architecture Recommendation (IAR and Arcitecture & High Level Design).

Align strategic business needs with the US IT service delivery model.

Engage with vendors and third parties on application technical architecture and design including oversight of vendor applicaiton development quality.

Contribute to the enterprise architecture to integrate processes and systems to maximize value and minimize impact associated with the change; and work with business leadership to understand and set enterprise architecture direction to realize Firm strategic initiatives. Contribute to the success of application development on tehcnial trade-off decisions and recommendations.

Proven communication and influencing skills both within the business and the IT community.

Proven ability to encourage creativity and forward-thinking suggestions

Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS)
