US IT supports and develops internal systems and applications for use by PWC staff in all areas of the Firm.
The Project Services team is made up of Project Management, Business Analysis, Testing, Development and Infrastructure Engineering.
The Business Analyst team is responsible for requirements gathering and management through the development life-cycle of IT projects to: optimize opportunity cost; document the right requirements to create solutions that meet user needs; improve efficiency by reducing rework and shortening project length.
Knowledge Preferred:
Applies analytical skills to determine and document accurate business requirements and present these requirements in a manner that is concise, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs.
Understands thoroughly the requirements from the business perspective and responsible for translating them into the appropriate System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables.
Skills Preferred:
Proven ability to document business systems related requests or requirements so that they are unambiguous, consistent and not in contradiction with each other is key.
Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst working on large and complex software development projects. Understanding of the SDLC activities expected to develop custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to Use Case Driven Requirement Methods.
Has deep technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and understands the SDLC development methodology.
Ability to manage the quality and acceptance of vendor analysis and testing of SOW deliverables in a project setting.
Ability to guide and oversee the documentation of requirements and test cases, so that the requirements and test cases are unambiguous, aligned, consistent and not in contradiction with each other.
Responsible for working with vendor SOW business analysis and testing deliverables on their quality and meeting acceptance criteria.
Provide modeling of business processes; understand the business need and impacts of the proposed solutions.
Provide timely feedback to project team members on the vendor work products submitted for review.
Responsible for leading Business Analysts team or having individual responsibility for applying analytical skills to determine and document accurate business requirements and present these requirements in a manner that is concise, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs.
Ability to review and manage the quality of vendor SOW deliverables.
Ability to work with the vendor as well as business stakeholders on specific projects in a team arrangement.
Ability oversee the documentation of requests or requirements by a team of Business Analysts, so that the requests and requirements are unambiguous, consistent and not in contradiction with each other.
Responsible for developing or modifying large, complex or mission critical information systems, including analysis and testing of business and user needs, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and understands the SDLC development methodology.
Ability to manage and oversee other Analysts assigned to project.
Responsible for leading teams of Business Analysts in a project setting
IIBA Certification preferred
Familiarity with at least one of the following tools: Rational Requisite Pro/Requisite Web; Rational Software Modelor; iRise; AxurePro; Quality Center
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:
8-10
Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:
Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA or BS) or 8+ years demonstrated software development experience
